Will my new massage chair fit through my front door?

No. But you can always keep it on the lawn...
Just kidding! Premier massage chairs are shipped with the arms of the chair in a separate box. Because the arms are shipped separately, the boxes are narrow enough to fit through a standard door frame.

Assembly is easy too. The arms of the massage chair have two pegs that slide easily into slots on the side of the massage chair frame. You don't even need any tools, and the process takes about two minutes. After that, all you have to do is plug your massage chair in, sit back, and enjoy!

Do you ship massage chairs to Alaska and Hawaii?

Yes! We do ship to Alaska and Hawaii, for only a minor extra charge. Because these packages need to go by air, it does cost a little extra, but the bright side is that you often get your chair faster than you normally would.

Do you sell any refurbished massage chairs?

No. DiscountMassageChairs.com sells only brand new, high quality massage chairs. Lower end massage chairs from companies are readily available in refurbished condition, and while these massage chairs may seem like a bargain, they are typically a bad investment.

Refurbished massage chairs are, of course, not in "like-new" condition. Generally they are chairs that have failed and been returned to the manufacturer. They often do not carry a warranty, and have much higher breakdown rates than new chairs. The fact is, you never know what kind of problems a refurbished chair may have had in the past. It could be something that isn't easily fixed, or a recurring problem that won't go away. In any case, you are taking a risk on a chair that has already had some issues, and may have more in the future.

Quality massage chair manufacturers like Premier don't have a large market for refurbished chairs. Quality massage chairs, like those produced by Premier have such long life spans that they don't usually show up on the refurbished chair market, or in places like eBay.

Which is better: Mechanical calf massage or air-bag calf massage?

Mechanical calf massage will always deliver more effective therapy than air massage alone. However, some air massage systems also incorporate a stretch feature, which adds to the therapeutic benefit of such systems.

Before stretch therapy arrived, air massage was considered to be a low-end feature. Today's stretch therapy however, found on some newer chairs, provides the dual benefit of massage coupled with muscle stretching. This dual action increases circulation to the legs immensely, improving the health of connective tissues and allowing for faster recovery after exercise.

Mechanical massage systems use paddles and rollers to deliver a 3 dimensional massage. This method gets deep into the muscle, manipulating the tissues and providing immense therapeutic benefit. Mechanical calf massage is still the best method available, but the new generation of stretch chairs are giving mechanical massage a run for its money.

Can I have expedited shipping?

Yes! We can get your chair to you in as little as one business day. A small additional charge may apply, but sometimes, it just has to be there. Of course, our normal shipping is free, and your chair is delivered in only seven business days. For most situations that's fast enough, but sometimes you just can't wait.

We have two expedited shipping options: 1 Day Delivery, for an additional $325.00 and 2 Day Delivery, for an additional $125.00. As always, our normal shipping option is included in the price of your chair, and this option will have the massage chair at your door in 7 business days.

Massage chairs make a great gift for a loved one in your life. They have the power to reduce stress and can eliminate the aches and pains of daily living, and with our fast delivery options, your gift will be there right on time.

Do you ship massage chairs to Canada?

Yes! We do ship to Canada!
There is a small additional charge, depending on where in Canada you live, but in most cases it does not exceed US $50 . For most of our chairs, much of the shipping cost is built into the price, so the bulk of the shipping charge is already paid.

Canadian customers will be responsible for both GST and PST fees which are assessed by the Canadian government, and not by our company. The only additional fees that we would collect would be for shipping to your home. Depending on the exact destination, shipping times are generally between seven and twelve business days, only a few days more than our domestic orders.

Is there any massage chair on the market that offers a heat feature?

Yes! The PHP-2026 is the only truly advanced shiatsu massage chair on the market that has a heating element. There are some low-end chairs that offer heat, but these chairs do not provide the therapeutic benefit of a high quality massage chair.

Heat can help to increase the effectiveness of your massage by stimulating circulation and allowing muscles to relax. The PHP-2026 uses integrated heat therapy to loosen muscles and allow for more effective massage. Our clients find that the heat element, even when used on its own, provides a soothing complement to the PHP-2026's legendary massage.
